Visita ao Parque Madidi e aos Pampas do rio Yacuma

La Amazonía comprende la selva tropical de la cuenca del Amazonas, esta selva amazónica es el bosque tropical más extenso del mundo. La Selva Amazónica Boliviana constituye aproximadamente el 35% del territorio nacional con áreas de selva natural de abundante biodiversidad. Entre los destinos más importantes de la zona se encuentran: El Parque Nacional Madidi y la Reserva Municipal de las Pampas del Río Yacuma.

El acceso a estos destinos de aventura de “Selva y Pampas” es a través de la población de Rurrenabaque que esta a 50 minutos de vuelo desde la ciudad de La Paz.

DAY 1: LA PAZ - TRINIDAD

Departure flight fron La Paz to the city of Trinidad, it is a 50 minutes trip. Trinidad is the capital of the amazonian department of Beni. Arrival to the airport and later we will enjoy a city tour. Accommodation in selected hotel in Trinidad.

DAY 2: BUFEO ROUTE

We will pick you up from your hotel to start the land trip to Puerto Ballivián, which is just 8 km far from Trinidad , there we will arrive to the Ibare River, this river is the gateway to the Ibare - Mamoré Protected Area.

Short hike through Puerto Ballivian and departure in a motorized boat in the he Ibare River, once we get to the intersection with the Mamoré River the visual impact is strong, since the Mamore is the biggest river of Bolivia.

During the boat trip we will observe the friendly bufeos or pink river dolphins (Inia boliviensis), and we are being able to swim near them in the waters of the Ibare River.

In the afternoon we will visit to the historical town of Loma Suarez and next continue to the San Carlos indigenous community where we get to see up close the way of life of the locals and where we will meet one of the natural monuments of the Protected Area Ibare - Mamore: The Mapajo, the giant tree of the Amazonia.

DAY 3: TRINIDAD - LA PAZ

After breakfast and enjoying the hotel, transfer to the airport to take the return flight to the city of La Paz.

Named as "Chalalán" because of the lagoon where the ecolodge is located, fully managed by the local community of San José de Uchupianonas, which has an ethnic Quechua-Tacana origin.

There are shared and private cabins, small treks at the rainforest, night hikes to appreciate the wildlife.

There are birdwatching and sport fishing specialized guides.

The combination of this two lodges offer a complete experience at the beautiful Bolivian Amazonia: Madidi Park and the Pampas del Yacuma Reserve.

To combine the visit at both protected areas it is required to have at least a 4 day stay.

Las Tortugas Eco Lodge is located 20 minutes by boat from Puerto Tucuman in the municipality of Santa Rosa, department of Beni, cruising the Yacuma River. Its located is in a prime location for observing the fauna and flora of the Yacuma area, besides having access by boat to the Municipal Reserve of La Pampa.

The lodge has five cabins each with a private bathroom.
In one of them hammocks were placed with a view into the vastness of the forest of Santa Rosa del Yacuma.

Built and managed by the Tacana community of San Miguel, among the best atractions of its zone they have the San Miguel Canyon and the red macaws cliff.
