Walk through the historic city center, walk through the typical markets and the famous "Witches Market". We fantásitcas panoramic views from the viewpoint of Killi Killi and the Valley of the Moon.

We begin the tour across the immense Altiplano (High Plateau Ranges) enjoying the landscape characterized by Andean products fields and small houses made of mud bricks called “adobes”. Our destiny is the town of Tiwanaku, where we find the most important archaeological complex of the country. 

First we will visit the local museum as an introduction about Tiwanaku’s heritage. And then we go into our journey back to more than 3500 years ago, we will visit the archaeological site whose main attraction is the “Puerta del Sol” (Sun Gate) one of the most important archaeological pieces of the continent, a megalithic gateway carved from a single block of stone.

Other great ruins of this enigmatic pre-Incan culture in terms of architecture and iconography are: the Temple of Kalasasaya, which is believed to be a ritual platform built using huge blocks of red sandstone, the “Templete Semi-subterraneo” and the Akapana Pyramid, structures that make Tiwanaku one of the most popular places to visit in of Bolivia. 

Return to La Paz.

We will begin our trip to the Titicaca Lake through the Altiplano (High Plateau). After a 2 hour trip we arrive to the narrower section of the lake: the Strait of Tiquina, we will cross it in a the rudimentary local ferry along with local people and then get back to our land transportation.

Arrival to the town Copacabana to again get on board of a public boat to travel through the Titicaca Lake, along with other tourists and town people towards the Sun Island. In Sun Island we will visit Yumani, the “Escalinata Del Inca” (Inca’s stairs) which leads us to the “Fuente de las 3 aguas” (the Fountain of the 3 Watersheds), the tradition dictates that if you drink from its water you can have eternal life. 

You will have some time to take pictures of the lake and the astonishing Royal Range of the Andes and we will go back to the boat to return to Copacabana, there we will make a quick visit to the town, enriched by the combination of the Andean and the Christian points of view, the religious sanctuary in honor of Candelaria Madonna, an important pilgrimage site for Bolivians, is located in this town. 

Return to La Paz from 21:00 to 22:00.

At 7:00 you will be picked up from your hotel in private transport to go to magic region of Yungas, the geographical transition between La Paz on the altiplano and the Amazonian rainforest. We start ascending to “la Cumbre” at 4700 masl, from there you can see the majestic Real Andean Range, after we descend until 1525 masl, through mountains, snow caped peaks and forests until a lansecape sub-tropical jungles of Los Yungas of La Paz.
After 3 hours we arrive to Coroico, it is a relaxing town where the climate turns warm. This town sits on a small mountain slope just above a river with amazing views over the green forest-covered Andean foothills. Visit Coroico and its agricultural areas, which produce abundant crops of coffee, fruits and coca, trekking through forest. In the afternoon we will visit the nearest refreshing waterfalls.
Return to La Paz, aproximately at 16:00 we arrive to down town.
