DAY 1: La Paz - Rurrenabaque / night in the town of Rurrenabaque
50-minute flight to the town of Rurrenabaque, rest of the day off.
DAY 2: Rurrenabaque- Caquiahuara, in Madidi National Park
Starting the adventure in a motorized canoe awaits you at the port of Rurrenabaque, we will have a 3 hour trip across the river and the river Beni Tuichi enjoying the wildlife around them and the lush greenery of the Madidi National Park. The journey into the Madidi National Park is wonderful, Tuichi River, a body of water that allows for more intimate views of animals and birds.
We arrived at the cabins in the Madidi and we settled into our room.
In the afternoon the guide will open your eyes to the magic of Madidi, one of the most biologically diverse protected areas in the world. There are seven trails leading away from the cabins of different levels and distances. Your guide consult the group and determine how long and what level of trips that the group wants to do. Take a walk day and night to see how it changes the forest with the sun setting.
DAY 3: Caquiahuara - San Miguel del Bala Ecolodge
Morning disfrutares of wealth and adventure Madidi jungle and then go down the river to the Ecolodge where can you can visit the San Miguel Canyon, a gorge 100 meters long in the jungle.
DAY 4: San Miguel del Bala Ecolodge - Rurrenabaque
After breakfast you can enjoy a refreshing swim in a natural pool, after a walk through the rainforest and learn about medicinal plants and methods of hunting in the jungle.
Return to Rurrenabaque and flight back to La Paz.
Access to attractions may be limited during the rainy season, also the flights to Rurrenabaque may have delays and cancellations. The rainy season starts in December and ends in March.
¿What to bring?
Backpack, special bag to keep your belongings dry in boating, wide-brimmed hat, long-sleeved shirt / pants (light fabric), hiking boots / sandals hybrid, swimwear, jacket / rain jacket, insect repellent, toiletries (including medicines that may require), sunscreen, sunglasses, binoculars, camera, flashlight and batteries.
