DAY 1: LA PAZ

Private transfer to your hotel.

Walk through the historic city center, walk through the typical markets and the famous "Witches Market". We fantastic panoramic views from the "Mi Teleférico" - cable car of the city and the Valley of the Moon. Lunch at one of the most famous and innovative restaurants in the city, you choose the best option:

DAY 2: LA PAZ - TIWANAKU - LA PAZ

Trip across the immense Altiplano (High Plateau Ranges) enjoying the landscape to the town of Tiwanaku, where we find the most important archaeological complex of the country. 

First we will visit the local museum and later at the “Puerta del Sol” (Sun Gate) one of the most important archaeological pieces of the continent, a megalithic gateway carved from a single block of stone. Other visits to great ruins of this enigmatic pre-Incan culture are: the Temple of Kalasasaya, the “Templete Semi-subterraneo” and the Akapana Pyramid. 

Return to La Paz.

DAY 3: LA PAZ - COPACABANA - SUN ISLAND - LA PAZ

After a 2 hour trip we will cross the Strait of Tiquina before arrival to the town Copacabana to get on board of a boat to travel to the Sun Island. In Sun Island we will visit Yumani, the “Escalinata Del Inca” (Inca’s stairs) which leads us to the “Fuente de las 3 aguas” (the Fountain of the 3 Watersheds), the tradition dictates that if you drink from its water you can have eternal life. 

Go back to the boat to return to Copacabana, there we will visit the religious sanctuary in honor of Candelaria Madonna. 

Return to La Paz at 22:00 - 23:00.

DAY 4: LA PAZ - COROICO - LA PAZ

Private transportation to go to the region of Los Yungas, the geographical transition between La Paz on the altiplano and the Amazonian rainforest. We start ascending to “la Cumbre” at 4700 masl, from there you can see the majestic Real Andean Range, after we descend until 1525 masl, through mountains, snow caped peaks and forests until a lansecape sub-tropical jungles of Los Yungas of La Paz.
Arrival to Coroico town, which sits on a small mountain slope just above a river with amazing views over the green forest-covered Andean foothills. Visit Coroico´s agricultural areas, which produce abundant crops of coffee, fruits and coca.

Return to La Paz.

DAY 5: RETURN FLIGHT

Transfer to airport.

OPTIONAL: VISIT TO SAJAMA PARK FROM ORURO


At 6:00, we begin the trip to the Sajama National Park at an altitude of more than 4,200 meters above sea level and where we will have the pride of closely observing the highest mountain in Bolivia: El Nevado Sajama, its peak is 6,542 masl.

In the Park we will visit Lake Huayna Kota where we can observe Andean flamingos before enjoying a bath in the hot springs. In the afternoon we will take a walk through the forest of queñua trees, a subspecies endemic to the area. We continue our trip towards the city of La Paz. Night in La Paz.

DAY 1: LA PAZ - TRINIDAD

Departure flight fron La Paz to the city of Trinidad,  it is a 50 minutes trip. Trinidad is the capital of the amazonian department of Beni. Arrival to the airport and  later we will enjoy a city tour. Accommodation in selected hotel in Trinidad.


DAY 2: BUFEO ROUTE

We will pick you up from your hotel to start the land trip to Puerto Ballivián, which is just 8 km far from Trinidad , there we will arrive to the Ibare River, this river is the gateway to the Ibare - Mamoré Protected Area.

Short hike through Puerto Ballivian and departure in a motorized boat in the he Ibare River, once we get to the intersection with the Mamoré River the visual impact is strong, since the Mamore is the biggest river of Bolivia. 

During the boat trip we will observe the friendly bufeos or pink river dolphins (Inia boliviensis), and we are being able to swim near them in the waters of the Ibare River.

In the afternoon we will visit to the historical town of Loma Suarez and next continue to the San Carlos indigenous community where we get to see up close the way of life of the locals and where we will meet one of the natural monuments of the Protected Area Ibare - Mamore: The Mapajo, the giant tree of the Amazonia. 

eturn to the boat at the Mamoré and later land transfer from Loma Suarez to Trinidad.


DAY 3: TRINIDAD - LA PAZ

After breakfast and enjoying the hotel, transfer to the airport to take the return flight to the city of La Paz.
